Team Announcements From Michael 31/08
After last Sundays successful training session we are keen to keep up the momentum leading up to our first game.
Can everyone please reply/comment with a yes or no attendance for this Sunday 03/09 at 2pm at Fawkner Park.
In addition we require all potential players who have not paid to forward their fees by this Sunday so that we can decide our final playing list.
If you have not paid a deposit or your fees in full by this Sunday we will consider you a non starter.
----------------------------------------
Unfortunately Belinda has advised that she is unable to commit to the team moving forward so that is a shame for our team. This also means that we are down to 6 guys and now 5 girls following a few withdrawals last week.
Can we all this week see if we can possibly recruit another couple of candidates as any total of team members less than 12 will spell difficult times come start of competition.
Be mindful that on the night of a game we are bound to have a few people who won't be able to play and that could mean either the guys or girls or both having no interchange bench.
No interchange bench becomes very demanding on the team because it means that during the game you will not be able to have a rest on the sidelines.
So lets see if we can boost our numbers a little?

DAILY BREAD OF INSPIRATION..
If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.

SEE YOU GUYS AT THE FINISH LINE, please forgive me but I have a prior engagement on Sundee (work) and will not be able to make the training session, keep it Real!
In the meantime, Have a Nice Day..

No problemo Shaun.
You’ll be missing some key drills this Sunday. After having a look at the complete team this Sunday I’ll be planning with Michael to have you specialised in the right Link position with a guy (Michael) on your left and a female (Tyler) on your right.
Ideally we’ll want you to practice quick smooth rucking up with the 2 Middles (Mike and Vanessa) and have a good understanding with Tyler on the wing to allow her to score (girls get double points in mixed touch) and good scoring female wingers are gold in Mixed touch.
As a general rule, rucking should always be done in the middle and with your speed and evasiveness (we’ll probably be practicing side-stepping moves this week) we’re hoping you can beat your opposing Link and pass to Tyler on the run at least a couple of times during a match.
Anyway, see you Sunday week – fit and ready. Thanks for posting your comments.
Arnie.
