Game Voting

Hi Team !

Just wanted to say a few things on Player Voting. It’s really just a fun way of recognising and acknowledging good play within the team and a way to encourage each other.

It’s obvious we have a couple of naturally talented players on our team who in my opinion could be walk-in start-ups for most teams even a couple of grades above the one we’re in now and are shoe-ins for “Best On Ground” each time they play. On the flip-side we also have players who for them this is their first season.

If someone shows extreme effort in say defence or makes a great attacking play or even is just willing to get in the middle and ruck the ball up and try hard - even if they don’t run like Carl Lewis, have a side step like Campese or hands like Gregan doesn’t mean their efforts should go unnoticed or be overshadowed automatically by the top-guns.

Please keep this in mind and the reasons stated in first paragraph when casting you votes each round. It may not change the final result but it will even out the voting a bit and it’s always nice to hear that even if you’re a beginner that someone put some votes in for you during the season.
