To all team contacts and referees: Tuesday Mens and Thursday Mixed grades
As you will be aware the Albert Park playing fields are continuing to deteriorate due to water restrictions and the lack of rain. Parks Victoria has been monitoring the situation closely together with Touch Victoria and a decision has now been taken to make use of fields 18 and 19 to the north of the current fields. The new fields are familiar to many teams as our ‘winter’ fields, and car parking remains on Aughtie Drive but just to the north of the Pit Lane buildings.
All grades on Tuesday and Thursday night will move to these fields as from this week until further notice. Monday and Wednesday competitions will remain unchanged. Field placements will be posted on a board outside the RSL building, and the ground administrators and referees will also be able to direct you to your field.
