ACERS knocked out in semi finals

Although sitting atop the competition ladder ACERS were just pipped at the line 7-6 by Citigroupies. We only had 1 sub on both the men and women’s side where Citigroupies had at least 2 or 3.

ACERS were also missing key players in Troy, Adam and Carma from our regular season list which would most certainly made a huge difference. Not taking anything away from the great game Citigroupies played.

The ACERS still have much to be proud off in it’s first season of Touch Rugby.

Great effort on Thursday night, unfortunately we didn't get the result we were looking for.

Result was 7-6 against us.

In addition there will be no play off for 3rd spot as hinted, so looks like that's it for the year.

Congrats on a great first season to all and thanks for your time and commitment.

Grand Finals will be held this Thursday as below so if anyone is interested in attending can you please let me know.

May also be an idea to hold a BBQ after the games as our season break up and presentation??

Alternately, we can hold something over this coming weekend?
